Dryer Vent Cleaning
Dryer vents cleaned from the outside with compressed air, so lint leaves the duct without blowing back into the building.
Lint packed behind the flap, one building at a time
A dryer vent hood looks fine from the lawn. Behind the flap, lint compacts into the duct a little with every load, and in a multifamily building the same slow buildup repeats across dozens of units. Clogged vents are a well-known fire risk, and they also show up quietly as longer drying times and tenants asking why their laundry is still damp.
Wet Portland winters add to it. Lint and moisture bind together in a cold exterior run, and screens or covers fitted by a previous owner narrow the opening further. Property-wide cleaning is a coordination job as much as a cleaning job: dozens of doors, resident access, and a record of which vents were done.

Compressed air from outside, vacuum and bags on the ground
HOA Services cleans dryer vents from the exterior with a compressed air system and a specialized blasting attachment. The air pushes lint out of the duct while the technician controls where it goes, so debris is not blown back into the building. All of it is vacuumed up, bagged and hauled off the property for disposal.
Vents that cannot be reached from outside are noted for interior cleaning once access can be scheduled. Vents with extra screening or covers are noted and reported to the community manager, and vents with booster fans need cleaning from both the interior and the exterior. Nothing is quietly skipped; it goes on the report.
Resident notices, access and a repeating calendar
When the request comes in, the account executive may walk the property first to build an estimate, then schedule the work with your property contact. As an add-on, the office can distribute resident notices ahead of time and secure any areas needed for access, which keeps a crew from standing at a locked gate halfway through the day.
Dryer vent cleaning is a routine service, so it belongs on the seasonal calendar next to gutter cleaning, pressure washing, moss control and siding washing. The technician submits photos and notes, and the account executive emails the status. Tigard, Portland and Willamette Valley communities can repeat it on the same cycle.
