Fence and Gate Installation & Repairs
Chain link, aluminum, vinyl, wood and panel fences, plus electric and automatic gates, installed and repaired around Portland and Vancouver.
Fences and gates are the first thing people see
A fence or entry gate is one of the first things a visitor notices on arriving at a property, and it also does real work: it marks boundaries, adds privacy, and controls who comes in. When it fails, the property looks neglected and the control it provided goes with it, which is why boards tend to notice a leaning fence before almost anything else.
In the Pacific Northwest, wood fences take the most punishment. Posts rot at grade level, panels sag, and boards loosen after wind storms. Chain link bends where a vehicle has touched it, vinyl cracks, and metal fences rust at the welds and fasteners. Fence posts are usually the first place to fail.
Gates add moving parts. A sliding or swing gate drags, a latch stops catching, and electric and automatic operators can stop opening. A gate that is stuck open or shut is a security and access problem on a community property, and residents report it quickly. Gate trouble is also one of the few repairs that cannot wait for the next quarterly walk, so it helps to have one number to call.

Installation and repair across the material types
HOA Services installs chain link, aluminum, vinyl, wood and panel fences, and repairs fences of all kinds, including post repairs that use repair brackets where a post can be saved. Gate work covers all types of gates, including electric and automatic gates, for both installation and repair, so an entry system and the fence line it hangs from are handled by one team.
Work follows the repairs process. The request becomes a job ticket, the account executive gathers details and may send a technician to assess, coordinates access and schedule, and the technician procures materials and makes the repair. An estimate can include on-site measuring and photos, which matters for a long run of fence or a gate opening.
The same repairs division also covers welding, concrete and carpentry, so a post that needs a new footing or a gate that needs a welded repair can be handled by the same crew. Technicians clean up and remove debris, submit photos and any notable details, and the account executive emails status with the photo record, so the manager can see the finished run without driving out to it.
Inspect regularly, repair promptly
Fences and gates last longer when someone looks at them. A regular inspection checks posts for movement or rot, panels and rails for loose fasteners, latches and hinges for wear, and gate operators for smooth travel. Small repairs made when the first board loosens cost less than replacing a section.
The account executive can place fence and gate checks on the property's calendar, and technicians on site for other work will flag problems as they pass, in keeping with the "eyes up" habit. Findings become job tickets with a free proposal, with photos attached so the board can see what is being asked.
For HOA communities, multifamily properties and commercial sites around Portland and the Willamette Valley, that routine keeps entries working and perimeters intact. Tenant notices can go out when a gate will be out of service, and invoices follow by property once the job ticket is closed, so the cost of each repair is easy to trace to the building it belongs to.
